Seasonal conditions remain part of fluorescent watercolor production
The production of fluorescent watercolors takes place under changing environmental conditions throughout the year.
As the seasons change, temperature, humidity, and drying conditions also change. These environmental factors accompany every stage of production and become part of the long-term observations recorded in the Production Archive.

Summer and winter create different production rhythms
Long-term observation shows that seasonal changes have a noticeable influence on the production process.
During the summer, fluorescent watercolors generally dry more quickly. The faster drying process can occasionally create situations that require adjustments during production so that the process can continue under controlled conditions.
During the winter, lower temperatures and higher humidity usually slow the drying process. As a result, the overall production rhythm becomes noticeably slower.
These seasonal differences appear repeatedly over many production cycles and therefore become part of the long-term documentation.

The binder behaves similarly while the colorants remain different
When compared with honey watercolors, fluorescent watercolors show many similar responses to seasonal conditions.
Both series are produced using the same binder system, which leads to comparable behavior during production. At the same time, fluorescent watercolors use different fluorescent colorants rather than the pigments found in honey watercolors. Because of this difference, subtle variations can still be observed throughout the production process.
Long-term documentation therefore shows that materials sharing the same binder do not necessarily behave in exactly the same way.
